One key feature of Montpulciano is the city clock with a Pulcinella figure on the top.
And Pienza is where they filmed part of the original Romeo and Juliet movie, which was fun to see.

Montpulciano and Pienza: Day 4
On October 10, we headed out to visit some nearby towns: Montpulciano and Pienza! Both are beautiful hilltop villages similar to Orvieto. We spent some time in each just wandering the streets and the shops. I can't get over how gorgeous these little towns are. They are like something out of a fairy tale!
